Marketing Management Department
The Department of Marketing was established in 2023 at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Tikrit, in response to technological developments and labor market requirements. The department is distinguished by a faculty team specialized in various areas of marketing, including consumer behavior, marketing research, international marketing, and digital marketing.
The department’s curriculum aims to provide students with fundamental concepts of marketing and its role in the success of organizations in a competitive global environment. It equips students with analytical and communication skills, enabling them to excel in product management, marketing research, and advertising and promotion. Marketing has become a crucial function for any profit-oriented project—whether commercial, industrial, or service-based—as well as for non-profit organizations, including governmental organizations (ministries and service institutions) and non-governmental organizations such as charities.
Marketing is considered the cornerstone of any organization’s success, as most of its functions are fundamentally directed toward understanding, serving, and satisfying the customer. The importance of marketing has become particularly evident in the era of globalization, where consumers are informed and aware of their choices, and competition is intense.


To be a distinguished Department of Marketing by establishing an educational system characterized by quality and creativity in teaching, along with academic programs that keep pace with scientific and technological developments. The department aims to prepare students in the field of marketing, ensuring diversity and offering specialized programs that provide outstanding employment opportunities in the local labor market, achieve excellence in scientific research, and contribute to serving the community.
