Responsibilities of the Citizen Affairs Unit

Duties of the Citizen Affairs Unit at the College of Administration and Economics include the following:

  1. Receiving Complaints and Suggestions:
    Handling complaints and suggestions submitted by citizens, students, and faculty members, and directing them to the relevant departments within the college for resolution and follow-up.
  2. Following up Citizens’ Transactions:
    Facilitating the follow-up of citizens’ and students’ transactions with the concerned departments inside the college, working to expedite their completion, and addressing any issues that may arise.
  3. Coordination with Administrative Departments:
    Coordinating between citizens and the various administrative departments within the college to ensure efficient service delivery and to meet their needs.
  4. Guiding Citizens:
    Providing the necessary guidance and information to visitors and students regarding administrative procedures, registration requirements, and academic matters.
  5. Promoting Transparency:
    Contributing to the promotion of transparency by providing the necessary information and clarifying procedures to visitors.
  6. Preparing Periodic Reports:
    Preparing periodic reports related to complaints, suggestions, and challenges faced by citizens within the college, and submitting them to the higher administration for appropriate action.
  7. Community Engagement:
    Enhancing the relationship between the college and the local community by organizing activities and events aimed at fostering interaction and communication between the college and citizens.
  8. Providing Student Support and Assistance:
    Offering assistance and support to students in various administrative and advisory matters, thereby contributing to improving their educational experience within the college.
