Functions of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the College of Administration and Economics

The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the College of Administration and Economics undertakes a range of activities and functions aimed at enhancing the quality of education and evaluating both academic and administrative performance. These functions include:

  1. Promoting a Culture of Quality:
    • Raising awareness among college staff about the importance of quality and academic standards, and organizing workshops and seminars related to quality.
  2. Developing and Refining Quality Standards:
    • Establishing academic and administrative quality standards and continuously developing them in line with higher education benchmarks.
  3. Academic Performance Evaluation:
    • Monitoring the performance of faculty members through academic and research evaluations, and preparing periodic reports on performance levels.
  4. Monitoring the Implementation of Academic Curricula:
    • Ensuring that academic programs and curricula comply with quality standards and providing recommendations for their improvement.
  5. Preparing Periodic Reports:
    • Submitting regular reports on quality and performance to the College administration and University leadership to highlight progress and achievements.
  6. Coordination with External Bodies:
    • Collaborating with national and international organizations to ensure that the College’s programs are accredited according to globally recognized standards.
  7. Conducting Studies and Surveys:
    • Implementing studies and surveys to measure the satisfaction of students, faculty members, and staff with the services provided, and analyzing the results.
  8. Monitoring the Implementation of Improvement Plans:
    • Preparing plans to enhance performance and quality at the College and overseeing their implementation to ensure objectives are met.
  9. Providing Guidance and Consultation:
    • Assisting various departments within the College in applying quality standards and offering necessary consultations to achieve continuous improvement.

These tasks aim to achieve academic and administrative excellence at the College and to ensure the provision of high-quality education for students, thereby enhancing the College’s reputation and making it a preferred destination for students and faculty members.
