The Tikrit Journal for Administrative and Economic Sciences was established in 2004 with the aim of publishing high-quality scientific research in academic disciplines related to economics, administration, accounting, statistics, and finance, whether originating from within the university or externally, in both Arabic and English.

The journal is issued regularly every three months. To date, 64 issues have been published over the past years. The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Asst. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hashim Fares.
