Duties of the Technological Incubation Unit at the College of Administration and Economics

The Technological Incubation Unit aims to support innovation and entrepreneurship by providing a conducive environment for developing ideas and emerging projects, particularly in the fields of administration, technology, and economics. The main duties of this unit include:

  1. Supporting Innovation and Entrepreneurship:
    Providing necessary support to students, graduates, and faculty members to transform their innovative ideas into executable projects, and encouraging the launch of new entrepreneurial ventures.
  2. Providing a Conducive Development Environment:
    Offering infrastructure such as workspaces, technical resources, and consultations to facilitate the development of emerging projects in technology and administration.
  3. Providing Consultation and Guidance:
    Offering technical and administrative guidance to entrepreneurs through hosting experts and consultants in administration, economics, and technology to steer projects in the right direction.
  4. Building Partnerships with the Private Sector:
    Establishing cooperative relationships with local and international companies and institutions to support emerging projects through funding or leveraging their expertise and market access.
  5. Providing Training and Workshops:
    Organizing workshops and training courses aimed at developing the skills of students and entrepreneurs in technological management, equipping them with the necessary tools to successfully manage their projects.
  6. Supporting Product and Service Development:
    Assisting emerging projects in developing their products or services by providing technical advice and supporting research and development (R&D) processes.
  7. Facilitating Access to Funding:
    Helping entrepreneurs access funding sources through investor networks or funding programs supported by governmental and private institutions.
  8. Technology Transfer:
    Facilitating technology transfer between the college and emerging projects to enhance innovation and apply scientific research in practical solutions.
  9. Promoting Emerging Projects:
    Assisting projects in marketing and promoting their products and services through events and exhibitions, in addition to providing innovative marketing strategies.
  10. Evaluating Ideas and Projects:
    Providing evaluation services for emerging projects and offering recommendations for their improvement and development in line with market needs.

Through these duties, the Technological Incubation Unit seeks to create an integrated environment that promotes innovation and entrepreneurship, supporting emerging projects that contribute to economic development.
