University Follow-up Division (Security) Roles and Responsibilities
The University Follow-up Division (Security) at the college plays a vital role in maintaining order and security within the campus. Its main responsibilities include:
- Maintaining Campus Security: Ensuring the implementation of security regulations and safeguarding safety across all college facilities, including entrances, classrooms, offices, and laboratories.
- Monitoring Access: Organizing and supervising the entry and exit of students, visitors, and staff to the campus to ensure that unauthorized individuals do not enter.
- Emergency Management: Handling emergency situations such as fires or accidents within the campus and taking prompt measures to ensure the safety of everyone.
- Security Maintenance Oversight: Supervising the installation and maintenance of security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring their efficient operation for monitoring activities within the college.
- Coordination with Security Authorities: Collaborating with local security agencies when intervention is needed in emergency situations or to resolve any campus-related security issues.
- Behavior Monitoring: Observing the behavior of students and visitors to ensure compliance with university rules and regulations and addressing any violations or inappropriate conduct.
- Protecting Property: Safeguarding college property from potential threats such as theft or vandalism, and ensuring the safety of equipment, devices, and facilities.
- Preparing Security Reports: Documenting any security incidents or violations occurring on campus and preparing periodic reports for senior management to provide a comprehensive assessment of the security situation.
- Security Awareness: Providing guidance and awareness advice to students and staff on how to act in emergency situations and emphasizing the importance of adhering to security policies and procedures.
- Ensuring Compliance with Instructions: Monitoring the implementation of security instructions and regulations issued by the university administration and ensuring that all staff and students adhere to them.
