There is no doubt that the College of Administration and Economics today stands as one of the most important institutions contributing to the provision of society with the necessary competencies and capabilities to organize administrative and financial affairs. It represents a fundamental pillar and a driving force for the economic and social development of nations.

In line with this reality, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Tikrit strives to prepare distinguished graduates who are capable of effectively meeting the needs of the labor market in both the public and private sectors. The aim is to support the national economy, enhance the country’s progress, and keep pace with international and regional developments, fully aware of the vital role that economics plays in achieving advancement and prosperity.

These efforts come within the framework of the available resources and current circumstances faced by the College. Notably, the Department of Economics has recently been established, in addition to the existing departments (Accounting, Business Administration, Financial and Banking Sciences, Public Administration, Marketing Management, and most recently, Digital Economics). Furthermore, the College has activated its postgraduate programs by opening master’s and doctoral programs in several disciplines, as well as launching a Higher Diploma Program in Strategic Professional Planning—an important step toward strengthening the integration of the College’s departments.
